Vermont Crafts Council Spring Open Studio Weekend
Memorial Day Weekend
Vermont Crafts Council Open Studio Weekend - featuring guest artist Gretchen Alexander (live painting demonstrations) and watercolors by Joey Bibeau and Terry Boyle
The Open Studio Weekend Tour is a statewide event where artists open their work spaces to share their tools, equipment and inspirations. Whether in small towns or at the ends of back roads, studios are interesting places to visit because they reflect the dynamic yet organized process used to design and produce a finished work of art.
Small galleries, and art centers that take part in this event, show a unique collection of hand made and local artwork, including special events and exhibits.
The Emile Gruppe Gallery will serve as a hub for Tour Loop #2 which covers the Jericho/Underhill/Essex area. Start your visit at the Gallery and pick up a map of artists participating on the tour and see samples of their work. The Gallery will also be hosting local artist Gretchen Alexander, who will be giving a live painting demonstration all weekend. While at the Gallery you can also view the current show by Joey Bibeau and Terry Boyle.
